error message about a pick up card

Hi There - I've a potential guest who is trying to book and has just messaged to say that they are receiving an error message about a pick up card. Does anyone have any idea what this means? I'm assuming it must be something to do with their credit card but I'm not sure. Obviously, if they can't sort it, they won't be booking. Many thanks in advance for your help!
