false bookings

Hi,

I wonder if you can help me. I need to know how i can refer to Airbnb a false booking. ie when an adult as booked a house for a son. Where can i find Airbnb policy on this.

If a father books for his son it is a 3rd party booking and it is against Airbnb's rules. You can contact airbnb and they will cancel the reservation.

There are occasions when family members book for other family members for whatever reason,.

I had a brother book for his out of Auckland brother when he had to attend a funeral, and husbands and wives often share one account.

Is the son an adult over the age of 18?

Maybe for some reason they don't have relevant documents to open an ABB account themselves yet.

Has the guest already stayed?
Or still to come?
If they later maybe ask questions as to the purpose of his stay and look up his name online to check their background.
