guest info

My guest are not receiving their "private" info such as codes, full address etc.  I have filled in all that info on website. At what point

do they receive it ? Do I need to do anything to activate it and make it available to them?

Hi,

 

If you have completed all the details in full on the Airbnb platform then your guest should have access to this information once they receive confirmation of a booking. Have a look at this path to see what details you have saved -

 

  • Host
  • Manage Listing
  • Click on the listing; it will open a default calendar page.
  • Menu -to the left of you listing description there are four horizontal bar, click on this and it will open drop down menu
  • Location- you will be able to see the information regarding the location that the guest will received once their booking has been confirmed; you can make small edits here if there is anything you have left out but not the actual street name or postcode/ zip code

 

I personally withhold my specific door number. I email the full address to the guest via Airbnb e-mail once I have received confirmation of their booking and I'm sure I'm happy with the booking.

 

If you check and find that all your details are saved in this location then perhaps check with Airbnb why guest are not receiving this information.  I would make sure that this is actually the experience of a few guest because some guest just don't read the information provided pre or post booking and will ask for it despite the fact that it has already been provided - I have personal experience with this and always point out to the guest that the information was provided and also when it was provided.
