guest lost keys /security swipe card I replaced them an guest then asked me to have locks changed ?

Gust lost key and security swipe card for my unit .   I replaced both and explained there is a $50 dollar charge for swipe card.   Guest asked me to change the lock???

explain to him that you coded the new card so the access is not possible with an old card anymore. That's the beauty of digital locks 🙂

You only charged him for the card? Not the keys? I would have charged for both. Tell them you can change the lock, no problem, as soon as they approve the payment of the extra charge for it.
