homeowner in violation of town ordinance using airbnb for rental income

Our neighbor at [Address hidden] Bemus Point, has been ordered by the court of the town of ellery to discontinue renting her property as it is in violation of the town ordinance. She has had a steady stream of loud, drunk renters and our small bay of homes is beyond frustrated. She has been to court 3 times - and when I looked today her cottage is still rented for September and October but for one day. There must be something Airbnb can do - how did the company approved this woman in the first place?

Hello @Stephanie790 ,

You can report the listing to Airbnb by the "flag" link on the listing.

Airbnb useally can't check on a listing if there are violations of local laws, also by accepting the terms the host agrees to not violate the rules.

Best regards, Emiel
