i want to sync 2 listings to the main list but not to each other, how?

i have a large house which can be split into 2 sections. when the main house is not booked i would like to book out the other areas. i have listed as 3 items and  i have sync calendars but wanted to be able to let visitors book the split sections at the same time but it will only let me sync to the main house meaning if one of the smaller sections is booked the other appears to be unavailable. How do i fix this in the settings?
