one day reservation verses two

I've been wondering what thoughts everyone may have about charging more for 1 day reservation than two days. There is a hotel about 5 miles from us, however the reviews that they have are not very good and so I thought that maybe I could bring more money in by offering only a one night stay through the week but two over the weekends.

@Sharon830  I couldn’t do nightly. The amount of time and effort to clean my space is just too much to do daily. A few years ago I would open single “orphan” nights, but I find that my interest in one-night bookings has declined dramatically!

You do charge a modest cleaning fee which probably makes a single night a bit easier. I have chosen not to have a cleaning fee.

Of course, you could try it for a month and see how you feel.
