My guests had to be canceled as we had a hurricane. I agree she should have a full refund. However, Airbnb only paid me half of what was owed back to her. She is now trying to collect the additional money. How do I resolve this with Airbnb?
Hi @Christy22 It has to do with what cancellation policy you've chosen for your listing but you can always forfeit the policy if you wish or if you need to ask for or send money, go to the resolution center.
Cancellation due to an act of God falls under Abnbs allowed cancellations without penalty. However I think it is she who has to get the money from Abnb....they collected it, not you.
have her Tweet or post on Abnb Facebook...Someone will contact her pretty quickly....they dont want to have anyone think that everything isnt perfect in the sharing economy.
