pricing changes

I had a guest stay recently and I offered her the place at a reduced rate because my wood burning stove needs servicing and I didn't want her to use it yet, I did the price change request, and airbnb charged her the full price.  Now I look foolish because I promised her the rate change and told her it was taken care of.  It says the price change is pending and I will be notified when there is a response, but she has already been charged... Is there any way I can fix this?

You can go to resolution centre and offer her a refund. Good luck.

Hi   Sounds like you offered her a reservation price alteration and she failed to accept it.  Any changes including price decreases, the guest must agree to also.  If you offer her a refund like someone else suggested, she will have to accept it or she won't receive it either.  Best wishes in getting this resolved.  Anne

I have changed my pricing. On the calendar the prices have been updated on some months but not others. Why? How do I fix it? Or is this another one of those "special things" about this site that can not be explained?

Sorry folks. I worked it out in the end. Base pricing. Adjust the dates etc. I am not good at this 😞
