I'm having a similar problem, Deb.
My Air bnb is supposed to cost $75 a night ($80 on weekends), but, according to Chrome it's $93 and Explorer has it at $110. It's been rented almost continuously since I started last spring, but in the last couple weeks I've had no bookings -- no wonder. Air Bnb is currently working on it, but I was interested to see that other people have had similar problems. Mostly these were from 2016. I'm wondering how other people resolved this. I saw that someone was thinking of taking down her listing and putting it up all over again, thus losing all the good reviews and history. (No!)
I'm waiting to hear from Air Bnb. The first person I talked to totally blew me off, but when I called back again, the next person was very helpful. She walked through my settings, listened sympathetically –always imporant– and passed on the information to the tech people. They're supposed to get back to me sometime today. In the meantime, I've turned off the ironically named "smart pricing" function.
Two more weird things:
A couple weeks ago someone looked at my listing ($75) and then came back later to book and found that it was now $85. He decided to go ahead and book and, when he did, it was $75.
Then, on another note, about ten days ago, Air BnB sent me a notice reminding me that a guest was coming, but, even though the date in my Air BnB host calendar was correct, the notice had the wrong date. That guest isn't coming until January.
I need this to be resolved quickly or my family will have a pretty thin Christmas.
