Just wondering why my guest is giving a different price quote on there email verses what I see on my end for my payout total . Are there other charges we as Host have no clue about, How can I answer a potential guest if I don't know the answer. Can someone help me

what you see is your nightly rate x number of days + extra guest fee (if you have it) + cleaning fee (if you have it) - Airbnb service fee (3%) = what you get

what guest see is your nightly rate x number of days + extra guest fee (if you have it) + cleaning fee (if you have it) + Airbnb guest fee (around 15%) = what he pays

You can see it if you log out and look at your listing as a guest

@A117  And you can let your guest know that hosts have zero input into the Airbnb service fees, that Airbnb sets those and they can vary and hosts don't have knowledge of what percentage Airbnb might charge. (Unless they bother to look at their listing like Branka and Silvia explained). That way, if the guest is shocked by the service fee, at least they won't blame the host for being non-transparent..
