"There was an error processing the request"

Hello,

I recently booked a room and requested that the host change the dates of my booking due to a change of plan on my part. The host then sent me a communication via airbnb asking whether I would accept the refund.

Unfortunately, the message "There was an error processing the request" appears whenever I try to accept the request

I have tried firefox, chrome and chromium along with the android app but the error appears in all of them. In addition, I have cleared the cache in all browsers and have deleted and reinstalled the app. The error still appears.

I contacted technical support yesterday through airbnb and through twitter but have yet to receive a reply so they can fix the issue and refund what is due.

I apparently cannot call them by phone in that they do not have a phone number here.

Can anyone help?

@George694 you can call them in any neighboring country or check with your service provider where would it be cheapest and call there, they don't have phone numbers in many countries unfortunately. As to your problem there is nothing else I could suggest. Have you tried changing the dates yourself? You can do that too, and the host can accept the change, maybe it will work that way.

Yes but its rather expensive to call abroad and the numbers which I have tried don't seem to work anyway. I might try again later.

I have tried changing the dates but oddly when I request 3 days instead of 30, it tries to charge extra.

The point is airbnb should not be allowed to provide a product with technical errors and then expect me to wait all day for them to reply to a technical query. The reply should be within an hour as is the case with most companies.
