remove pre approval~

Hi,

So we pre-approved someone a while back and have heard nothing since, so we wanted to remove their pre-approval. However when we go to the message thread, where the option to remove a pre-approval used to be, there is no option to remove it.

We've tried on the app and different browsers but can't find any way of removing the pre-approval. Has the option moved, or being removed, or what?

Any help appreciated as I am needing to free up my calender!

@Jennifer32 Pre-approvals expire after 24 hours. The fact that they're still noted in the message thread is irrelevant, so don't worry about it. It's just sort of a "note" that you can refer to later.

@Jennifer32 Pre-approvals are a bit tricky.  During the first 24 hours after you sent one, the guest can accept and the reservation is confirmed.  After the first 24 hours the Pre-approval still exists but if a guest accepts it will come back to you for acceptance or if you want, to decline.  The option to remove a Pre-approval only lasts during the first 24 hours.  After that, since you will have the option to decline, the option to remove it is not necessary.   Look under the guest section of this help article to see what I mean:
