request to add another guest onto current stay

Hi,

I have three people staying for the week; on the second day of stay they asked if they could add another person (which is a $10 charge per person per night). What are your thoughts on this? They offered to just pay me but can I add this to their reservation to add the forth person?

HI Kristine, 

I would personally add it to the current booking and they will get charged on their booking. you can change the booking I think on your Inbox section when you talk to your guest you have on the top the option to make changes on the reservation.

Try to avoid as much as possible to accept any payment in cash regarding this wont be covered by the Host protection policies in case something happens.

Better be save.

Hi Kristine,
Go to your inbox and open your guest message.On top there's change/cancel reservation.Click on that one.Then,choose the "CHANGE REAERVATION".You can adjust the dates,extra people and then hit SEND.Ask your guest to go ahead and accept the changes ASAP. You'll get a notification on your guest inbox that guest accepted the changes.
