I had a similar case. A guest rented my house, He had to remove the key on the day of check-in. He did not show up on check-in day. I talked to him and gave him the option to remove the key another day and gave him the days he had lost, He didn't accept. Now he is asking me to return the money. He invent he went to remove the key the day we combined and my uncle was going to deliver the key was not.My uncle wait for him  all day,but  the guest had never went.He invented a lot of lies to airbnb and showed some conversations by whatsapps, which I asked to remove the key. Airbnb said iI must return the money. I communicated with that man, he had never went to remove the keys. He's saying that I was negligent. The man changed plans and is now inventing all this. Airbnb believed all guy said. My uncle is host in airbnb and He rent by airbnb. I had write in platform airbnb, guest had to retired the key in an house of my uncle.
