a guest cancelled his stay but airbnb enables him to write a review and he is threating me to write a very bad review because he cancelled the day of check in and wants a refund,what shall i do??
Sorry about your experience. Are the messages within the Airbnb system? If so you should send them to the Airbnb customer service team and they will handle it. They take threats very seriously. Good luck!
@Haris29 Airbnb have a pretty strong extortion policy & it explicitly prohibits guests using reviews to force a host to provide a refund. I've included a link to the policy below. It might help to send that to the guest via airbnb messenger telling him that he is breaching airbnb policy. I'd also be proactively contacting customer service to explain the issue & also report/flag his profile.
