I had a guest stay at my place for 2 weeks and we both thought the price he paid included the security deposit which would have been refunded if everything was OK. What is the procedure there?
The price the guest pays DOES NOT include the security deposit and the security deposit is only charged if their is a claim against the guest for damages within 48 hours of check out. So since the security deposit was never collected, it cannot be refunded.
