strict cancellation

I have a reservation for myself as a guest. I'm new to airbnb - my host has a 'strict' policy meaning I get 50% refund if I cancel 7 days in advance. My reservation is still a month away. Do I get a full refund?

Please let me know. It's been a nightmare trying to get an answer to this

Hi @Sunita3,

If you cancel now or any time up to 7 days before your check in date, you get 50% back.

If you cancel after that, unfortunately you don't get anything at all.

With a strict cancellation policy, you would be refunded 50% plus any cleaning fee you paid if you cancel up to 7 days before. After that, you are not refunded for nights you don't stay. Airbnb fees are not refunded.
