How do I set up a website for my listing and have it link straight to my listing on the Airbnb site  ????

You can place a link on your website.

If you have multiple listings (which you do not now) use the homepage (and upload a coverphoto):

https://www.airbnb.com/users/134138510/listings

Otherwise use the direct link to the listing:

https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/show/19179397

Or

use the badges (copy html code) found in your account (BTW they do not allways work well)

Hi Jennifer,

I am just now setting it up with the assistance of a friend who is a little more tech savy than I.  Godaddy is who I am using because it is inexpensive and they have templets.   My domain is shellcottagessi.com, am getting new professional photos, have linked everything with one exception straight to Airbnb.  (the exception is where I have linked "Local Activities" to the Golden Isles Visitor and Convention Activity site).

Hopefully I will be up and running within a couple of weeks and will be able to take business cards with my web address to local business that attract out of town visitors for workshops.  

I will post an update on how it is going as soon as I am up and running.  Please let me know about your progress.

I am considering setting up my own website as I have numerous listings. A couple of questions:

Why would you want to link to airbnb from your website? Is your site not transactional?

I think airbnb would let me have a link to my website on their platform? I am sure any booking initiated on airbnb would require the guest and me to pay the airbnb commission, (which is fine)? Would the policies of airbnb then apply to all of these types of bookings?
