Calendar view - first day of the week

I am from Slovenia where we are used to have Monday as the first day of the week. As there is no Slovenian language available for the site, I use the English version which has a calendar view set to Sunday as the first day of the week by default.

I have noticed that, for example, German or Czech site have Monday as the first day of the week in their calendars. I understand both languages a bit, but I feel a lot more comfortable with English.

So, to not make me (and others) confused about people booking at the end of the week from Saturday to Monday (although it is booked Friday-Sunday), can there be an option to set your calendar view to your first day of the week (Monday or Sunday)? At least with the website in English since it's the "international" language...

I am using Safari and the week starts on Sunday there too, as well as on Chrome.

I haven't found any other way around it except changing the language to Czech or German, those two languages I at least understand a bit. But I would still like to use the English site as it is my second language. Too bad I only see the weeks starting on Sunday... Although on the phone app, it does show me Monday as the first day (yay!).

Set the language to English (United Kingdom) and it should be fine. US has all kinds of weird default settings.

There is no English (United Kingdom) option, only "English" on AirBnb...

Why would Airbnb not have an option for this and everyone can use which ever they prefer!? This could be solved with a single tick in a box. I really hope at some point this will be available!

I would also like Airbnb to implement the option to display the calendar with weeks beginning on Monday.  This is a common option available on most websites and applications that show a calendar.

Airbnb:

Just add a setting for users to have their calendars start on Monday—or any day of the week, frankly. This is such a very old computing issue and has been so deftly and decisively addressed for many, many decades now, perhaps even since the advent of computers. Why not modernize this aspect of the platform?
