A "bug" in the new feature: Team

Hello Everyone,

Good day.  I've been trying to explore this new feature Team and had no way to invite a cohost due to a "bug."   Here is what I've learned and pls have a read if you are testing it:

 

1.  As a listing owner, you need to remove all cohosts of all your listings before you can invite them to join the team you created.

2. Your cohost should avoid being in any Team or creating a Team for him/herself.  Otherwise, you will not be able to invite them.

3.  So far there is NO way to delete Team you create yourself, and I consider this a "bug."  Because of this bug, your cohost who accidentally creates a Team will no longer be able to be invited by you nor anyone else.  

 

I've been trying to invite a cohost and the system kept refusing me because the cohost has a Team himself.  Headache!!   

 

Did anyone have similar situation?

The Teams icon appeared to me for 2 days. Then it was gone.

it is probably created for hotels where they have a team of people running it together -  like managers, owners, receptionists etc...

Make sense, @Branka-and-Silvia0, and it's a nice new addtion to Airbnb.  Hope they can address this issue asap.

Why would airbnb even would try to improve things that already working good. Instead of working on better customer service...at least having some quality control over case managers that carelesly solve cases in weeks, sipping coconut margaritas somewhere in Bali and smiling down on us, poor hosts 😄

The invitation for one of my team members says 'pending' , but she can actually access some of the information and features....but not all of it.  She is only on Airbnb  with me and we have deleted her invitation and resent several times but still not fully working.  My other team member had no problems accepting the invitation at all. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions.  Thanks!

We have a team of four. Superhost/Owner and three others. Full permissions were given to two of the others but they can't block dates, access other areas.

 

What's the use of having full access it they don't actually have full access? Is there a known bug? Anyone else experiencing this?

I can't even seem to tick the checkboxes to grant permissions to my team members. It keeps saying "Your changes weren’t saved. Check this box again to retry." Seems like this was a really buggy rollout 😞

Hi everyone, I thing this team feature was deactivated. However now my cohosts are not able to see some messages, is anyone else having this issue?

@Vivian109  so far is there any solution to resolve this issue? anyone has successfully deactivated the TEAM and add back the cohost?
