Well I guess I assumed if my barn is unfire I'd like to be woken up to go put it out. Guests are strangers and to be contacted by fire, police or emergencys can happen at all hours. Leaveing a reivew for a guest who left that day I see as not even a reason to send a notification to a phone. Airbnb is mulitmilion dollar industy and there is no doubt in my mind they could send appropriate notifications at proper times or skip that notification. Feel free to read capital letters at any tone you'd like. I read them at a frustrated level in my head which doesn't startle my cat in the least.
I know the app designers might not be reading this but working with the app can send a person to want to vent. Not to mention making a complaint is the only power I have.
