After becoming superhost, does the number of views shoot up drastically?

no it does not shoot up anything.
It is a search criteria.

@JohnandGrace0 Probably the best perk in becoming a Super Host is that guests can filter searches to include only Super Host listings.  Airbnb recommends guests search for Super Hosts because we respond quickly, have a good commitment rate and have excellent reviews.  As far as listing views go, it all depends on your location, number of listings, time of year, etc.  Right now I'm in the doldrums of winter and my views are down but I expect them to start picking up as we go into Spring.

@Nathalie-Et-Gilles0 is absolutely correct.  I have discovered that most of my guests didnt' know this was an filter option when they did their search.

However, I can tell you that MY joy did shoot up drastically when I became Superhost....now my business cards say that.  lol

If you feel that me or another host have helped you, feel free to click on the "thumbs up" button at the end of any post. Thank you so much.

Aloha, Momi

Great way to contact Airbnb or via Twitter at AirbnbHelp / Facebook

Hello Momi -

What site did you use to create your business cards?  What information or graphics do you have on your business cards?  Would you be able to scan one (front and back) to share?

Thanks,

I am on line to become a Superhost at the end of this month, most people who have stayed with me have no idea what it is, most unlikely to make any difference.

My impression is most filter by price initially. Some look at the reviews. Judging by the questions I am asked very few read the full listing.

Hey David,

Any tips or advice appealing the meticulous for SuperHost Status?  We are new to AirBnB since March.   https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/12026785?s=oLn03XZM

& wish to enter 2017 as SuperHost. With that, hope for more bookings, different echelon guest paying more than the current newbie pricing. As a stop gap scenario to stave off expenses during reparations prior to a most likely sale next year, we need to make the most out of AirBnB. Albeit, home is sparsely furnished, it's in a scenic, quiet, private forest in Connecticut not far from Yale.  One bad experience (interrupting a beer bash) receive relalitory bad review. So, would you know the metric that is used and how one can appeal such. 80% five star stays seems unapprocable

@Liisa1......Hi there Liisa, Well I have been a Superhost for a year now and seriously, it is no big deal! Guests are not coming to us because of the badge! I am finding more and more that prospective guests are tending to trust airbrushed pictures and glowing descriptions less and less. Most of my guest enquiries now start off with...."We will be in your area for a ***** on a certain date, your reviews are amazing and we would like to stay in you ---------------"!

You can't 'fudge' an Airbnb review and people who have used Airbnb before know that, and they trust what others have written.

But it all falls back on you and what you are prepared to do for the guest. Liisa, I love hosting and I don't give a 'bulls roar' about the Superhost thing.....but I know it is because of what I do that I have been given it! Does that make sense....

Cheers.....Rob

None of our guests knew we were super hosts - they just read the reviews...it's a meaningless badge that makes us hosts feel good about ourselves, nothing wrong with that - but we have yet to have one guest who used it as a search criteria.
