Hi All,
In my account under Profile is Trust and Verification.
There is an American Expess button, that I pushed.
It said add Americian Express, I did.
I assumed it was to help verify my ID to guests,
it was not it was just so you could pay quicker (I guess).
1. An odd place to put in your credit card for payments to Airbnb.
2. As I was putting in my Am. Ex. info.
Airbnb asked for my Am. Ex. log in info. including my card account name and password.
We all know form credit card 101, to never give your login info. or password out to anyone?
Why was Airbnb asking for my Am. Ex. password?

Why was Airbnb asking for my password for my Am. Ex. Card?
Interesting, just another for of ID but the password thing sounds really strange,
I suspect they want your AirBnb password as part of confirming that you are the Airbnb account holder entering the data.
Whoa! Super weird. Thanks for the heads up on this.
@Taryn4, What I meant was, that Airbnb were not likely to seek a password other than their own. If someone is entering banking data on your account then it makes sense for AirBnb to keep asking you to prove your identity.
eg if you are on a public computer and your terminal is still open on your airbnb page another user could try to change your banking details. But if Airbnb keep requesting your password, then its harder for security breaches to occur.
Regards, Christine
I would not give my password or any login details - it might be a scam where a computer hacker has found a way to collect credit card information.
You should change your password immediately if you gave it to them.
