Call for a new OPTIONAL REVIEW SYSTEM for GUESTS doing REVIEWS.
The star system is becoming way TOO complicated and in favor of the guests - Airbnb will stop becoming popular once a new competitor comes up with a new simpler system. Airbnbs general problem is that its trying to be everything for everyone !!!
Logic is not very common these days. And Airbnb is becomes too complicated with the passing of time.
The Review System should be optional !!! - as in a Basic Version with stars that suits 90% of most guests - OR an Optional Review for the 10% super sensitive guest with more review options ( this could be noted in the Reviews as "Optional Reviews" BUT Airbnb should never be inviting and leading guests with complaint options which is against the best intentions of most guests and counter productive to Airbnb !!!! That way prospective guests know that the Optional Reviews are done by the nutters and the serial unhappy whom complain about everything and life in general.
The Optional Reviews should have NO STARS to give - so the guests are encourage to use the standard Review (the basic version ) or complain all they like with a Optional Review with out stars. That way more than 90% will use the quicker Basic Review.
This new Review system would work better and be fairer for both guests and hosts !!
Please pass this posting on to everyone to get Airbnb to take notice to do some logical changes.
