Cancellation Questions

I have 3 confirmed reservations from September - October. 

I no longer want to list my apartment on Airbnb - will I be penalised for cancelling these and closing my listing?

@Steffani1 I would assume that you would be penalized since Airbnb offers a bonus, usually 10% of the cost of the reservation, to guests whose reservations are cancelled.  The monetary penalty to hosts is what covers that cost. 

I don't know why you are leaving Airbnb, but I would suggest you discuss it with them.  Here's how to contact Airbnb:

Thanks very much Clare, I really appreciate you passing on the contact information as I was getting very frustrated with not being able to contact them directly. 

I'm not certain if my reason completely falls under 'extenuating circumstances' which is why I need to speak to somebody.
