my guest instantly booked 21 nights - she is now in the apartment for 2 nights and today asked to stay only for the next 2 nights and then check-out and get the money back.
I have already gotten a payment transfer announcement from Airbnb yesterday.
Now, she wrote to me that my "flat is lovely but something came up and she has to leave earlier than she thought".
What do I do in this case? I waived out 2 reservations because of this one.. Do I deserve some kind of compensation from her on this? Say half of the money back for the time reserved and not a full refund?

Your cancellation policy is strict. I presume that it was strict when she booked. Then she'll have agreed to it and you don't have to refund anything. For cancellations after checkin the strict policy says "If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded."
You say that she wrote that something came up and that she has to leave earlier than expected. I hope that that's on the Airbnb message system so Airbnb can see it if you decide not to refund and she consults them.
You could offer a refund ffor dates you can rebook if she cancels. So if she cancels and you getet bookings for 7 of the days you could refund her 7 days. It's entirely up to you.

Go to your reservations and find her reservation. Then click on "Print confirmation" for that reservation.
That page should list the cancellation policy that you had when she booked. It should be in the "Listing" section, just below the "Checkin" section.

If you type "cancellation" in the search box having clicked on "Help" it will show a link to an article called "What is the Airbnb cancellation policy". That article has a link to the cancellation policies page. On the policies page you can click on "Flexible", "moderate" etc. to see the conditions of each policy.
