Cancellation of guest reservation

My guest made an instant booking on my flat (while I thought the instant booking was turned off) and claim that they booked it for their parents. They have no profile photo and only just created the account with no previous reviews. So i am a bit hesitated in hosting this as it wasn't really my wish to host someone who is not actually the person verified in the profile. 

Is there a way to cancel the reservation without affecting my account status?

Hi Matt

 

Contact Airbnb as it is against policy for third party bookings.  They should be able to sort it for you. DO NOT cancel yourself as you may be penalised.

Don't cancel - host penalties are too high, and the dates will be blocked by ABB.

It's a 3rd party booking, not allowed or covered by ABB, so contact them and have booking annulled.
