We recently had a guest cancel their reservation during a major event in our town; 4 weeks prior after booking over a year in advance. We have had good experiences so far and have a loose cancellation policy. I am going to change it to strict since it hurt us with renting it out at is normal value. Is there a way to update the current reservations of guests staying here to reflect that change in cancellation policy? I found the change reservation tab but it looks like it only applies to dates and price.

Liz, thank you for the response. I read this and understand it. I am looking to change the policy of an existing reservation which after reading these forums appears to not be an option. Is the only alternative to cancel the reservation completely and rebook with a new cancellation policy?
