Charging station for guests!

Frequently, guests will forget to bring a charger, or they have it buried deep in their suitcase somewhere. So, I decided to make a little charging station for them! I went to five-below and got two iPhone Chargers (one old style, one lightening cable), a micro USB charger, and a mini-USB charger, which more or less covers all modern portable electronics. one came in a pack with an AC-USB adaptor, for a total of about 20 bucks. I went to ross and grabbed this little desk organizer for 10 bucks, and finally a stop at walmart for a surge protector. Total cost about 40 dollars- but so far all my guests have used it! I through in a glasses cleaning cloth so they can wipe their phone down too. Plus, they will tend to plug everything in here, instead of diving behind my TV to find an open outlet for their laptop.IMG_20160107_131102.jpg

Brilliant idea!

Nice idea. We got a bedside reading lamp from Amazon which has USB ports included for charging devices by the bedside.
