Co-hosting

Hi

I am a host with three listings of my own with great five star reviews, and a friend has asked me to co-host their property as they do not live this country.   I am concerned that any adverse reviews will appear on my own listings page as well as the new propertys page.  Is this the case?  If I make myself Primary Host, and the new listing gets a bad review will it appear on all my other propertis or just the new listing I am co hosting.  Could anyone just clarify for me?

Hello @Penny53,

Whether you are a primary or ordinary co-host the reviees show only on the profile of the property owner, the admin for the property.

They won't show on any listings on the co-host's profile.

You cab use the help feature to search for "co-host" and for "primary" to get a selection of articles describing co-hosting.

The article below has some info on how reviews work in a co-hosting arrangement.

I recently startign co-hosting for listings that have worse review ratings than mne. I know that since I am not the primary Host, lower star rating will not affect my superhost status, and that is great. However, when potential new guests look at my star rating, do they see a new lower rating in which the star ratings from my co-hosting listings are averaged in? When I look under "stats/ratings" I noticed some 1-star reviews in my distrubution. I knew this was weird and it turns out that are from the co-hosted listing. Can someone please clarify?
