Hello,

Has anyone else encountered this:

I have accepted a guest reservation and it has been confirmed. I offered my cell phone number for any issues or questions prior to and during their stay.  I received a message stating that my number would be "hidden" and unavailabe to the guest. I find it is very helpful to talk directly with a guest and am wondering if anyone has had this happen and has a suggestion.

Yes, this is normal. This is a protection for both parties. I just message back and forth through Airbnb, this keeps a record of everything.

Hello. If you have posted your number to your profile your guest should be able to see it after the booking is made.

I used to see these messages but after a while I am able to share my email and phone no with the guests. I guess you can't do this after a certain number of bookings are made and served via Airbnb

You can also view the guest's number if you click on reservation and view details. You can directly message them on their cell number using this. But use it sparingly I'd say.
