Deduct construction expenses?

I recently built a detached guest house on my property, which I'm now using as a short-term rental. Can I deduct the construction expenses?

Yes, but over 27.5 years per schedule e for deduction, over 5 years for flooring, furniture, kitchen.

 

Also figure out per cent of property tax, power, WSG etc.
