Guest cancellations and refunds

Hello all

 

I have just had a guest cancel a 5 day booking.  I am within my refund settings to not provide any refund but I would like to keep just the value of the first day and refund her the rest.

 

As she has not stayed, can she leave me a negative review if she wants a full refund and is not happy with the partial?

Since your rooms are in a hotel, @Melanie467, I would imagine you have a better chance than many of us to get a booking for all or some of the dates that she cancelled.  Presumably the reason for the cancellation does not meet the  extenuating circumstances criteria and the Air BNB rep granting a full refund, you could promise to refund for any booked dates.  That way you are not being paid double for the same listing and the guest will perceive your fairness.

 

I don't think the guest can write a review when cancellling 5 days out from check in.
