Guest is not answering messages - Arrival/Time date unknown. How to cancel ?

I've received a booking from 05.01 on. My guest mentionned he will provide exact date later. I've send message he does not reply. How can I cancel ? Or what can I do ? Thank you for your assistance.

Don't cancel, @Didier90!  When a host cancels a reservation, they incur lots of penalties which can be very difficult to deal with. If the guest has not cancelled, they are still liable for the cost of the stay, in keeping with whatever cancellation policy you have chosen.  Make sure you communicate with the guest ONLY through AIrBnB. Contact AirBnB by using the link on the reservation tab on the AIrBNB app, to let them know what is going on and see if they have any further directions for you.

@Didier90 get customer service to help you! Ask them to reach the guest & insist that the guest respond to you. Then you will either have the info you need OR you will have a CS person that will cancel on your behalf bc the guest has vanished

PS Be sure to check that payment has been released to you on the second day of the reservation (which I think should be today?)
