Guest payment

Hi, my guest will be coming soon. (8 September 2017) Airbnb notify me that the guest will check in and already pay to Airbnb for the booking. How should  I know the guest already make the payment, since I don't receive any detail about their payment (receipt no.) from you. Another question, the price of my apartment is RM280/night but why in the trip statement that airbnb sent was RM152/night.

How could I cancel the booking if the guest does not respond my message through email and phone message. 

 

Please advice ASAP

Airbnb lets you know if the guest did NOT pay, but not if they did, in such a case the assumption is they did. As to the price difference, how unusual, but there must be a logical explanation.

Thx for advise. They are my first guest, hope I'll learn something after this.

@Maiza1 For how long did they book? You have weekly and monthly discounts.

They booked only for 2 days only. They are my 1st guest so I'm a bit doubtful about a lot of thing...

If you have a confirmed booking, the payment has been made to airbnb.  airbnb does not send booking confirmations unless the guest has paid in full. 

There will always be a difference between your asking price and your payout as the fee to airbnb will be deducted.

Thx dear for sharing info. The coming guest is my 1st guest so I'm scared some misunderstanding between me-->guest-->airbnb.

Hope that airbnb will transfer the guest payment as soon as the guest check out. If not, I'll have to bear all the cost specially if there any demage in my apartment.
