Host Cancels. You have no payout. Does Air BnB collect money from you?

If I use up my free cancel and then cancel another two and have no other reservations or money payments coming in, does Air BnB charge me somehow OR do they just keep it on file that the next time you want to host they will later withhold that $100?

Hi @Dave13,

They will take it from future payouts but many of us are unsure how they handle these if you no longer plan on hosting.  There have been two hosts who have cancelled all their reservation for two different reasons and were penalized for each one but they have not reported how Airbnb is going to or if Airbnb is going to collect from them.  I would imagine that Airbnb could just not allow them to reactivate their listing unless the penalties are paid but again, I don't know.
