I have a guest in a room shared with other guests (a hostel-type setup), and his odd behavior is making everyone in the house uncomfortable. He wakes up in the middle of the night swearing loudly, bangs doors at 3am, etc. Others have woken at night to go to the bathroom and found him lurking in the darkened hallway. He makes messes everywhere. He talks about strange things. All around nightmare guest. He is scheduled to stay 3 more weeks. How do I get rid of him sooner?
There's something in the website that talks about guests who don't follow the rules. You might add that to the rules that if they don't follow you have the right to ask them to leave or remove them from property. Have you talked with him? Maybe he gets a warning first then have one of the guests or you call the police. Maybe you've already thought of these things but there has to be some protection for
call Airbnb and tell them that your guest is displaying mentally unstable behaviour and bothering your other guests and you wish to have him removed, and would like their assistance in this.
Don't simply cancel yourself.
Unfortunately you don't have anything in your house rules about keeping the place clean, late night noise, smoking etc. So going forward I would suggest you review your rules to make them more comprehensive.
