I Cannot change amount of guest after reservation started

The number of guests changed on the 'started' reservation, so then I went to Change o Cancel Reservation option, select Change Reservation and I did change the number of guest from 3 to 6.
A message pop-up saying "Reservation has already started. You cannot alter this reservation’s number of guests."
The point is that we charge an extra amount after four guests, so how can I do it? Any ideas? Why Airbnb don't allow to change the number of guests after check-in time.

@Javier-and-Mariela0  yes this is annoying.  You can request the extra amount via the resolution center-- send/request money button on the itinerary.

Thanks Lisa, yes as you said, its annoying. Send/request money via resolution center is a gamble. Doesn’t guarantee that you are going to get the requested money. Thanks again

@Javier-and-Mariela0 I had this happen once - I called Airbnb Support and they changed the reservation for me on their end. Did you call them about this already?

I ran into the same thing, this is something new as before we were able to request the change.
