Increase in third party requests?

In the last week I have gotten several inquiries for third party bookings.  One wanted access to the house to put a gift there for the person who was staying.  Im sure some of these are legitimate but we don't do third party bookings nor do we provide entry codes to nonguests.

Anyone else getting this? Seems like a sudden uptick.

Yep! I am worried it is a scam. And I refer them to the airbmb policy that guests hav to be named on the booking and airbnb try and push back. I ended up reminding them of the disaster in New Jersey with all the house parties and how I was simply doing the same thing.

Answer the guests they have to create a personal account when booking on Airbnb  If it is a booking request, ask them to retract it (with added pressure-message that you otherwise need to decline the request,  reporting it to Airbnb for reason it as a 3rd party booking).

And yes, i also experienced  an increase in third party bookings. But i also noticed serious guests are wllling to create their personal account and come back later.

Best regards.
