Keeping neighbors happy ALL the time may not be a realistic goal, @Paige73 , but being aware of neighbors comfort is genius! Mostly a host needs to ensure that guests do not disrupt a neighbor's life. Make a list of how visitors, aka guests, can be disruptive - noise level and parking are the most frequent issues. Consider how you will deal with each issue proactively. If you are not onsite, are you quickly available? If not onsite, you need to be able to monitor the number of guests and the parking situation. You could use a door camera with connection to your phone for some of the monitoring.
Proactively, you could go to each neighbor with a small gift and your phone number to contact you with any concerns. Share with them how you are monitoring the site and that your utmost concern is that there is no disruption to their lives.
Good luck and keep us posted how it goes for you!
