I've been hosting for a month now and I'm not sure what to do with stuff that people leave.  Some guests have left metro passes and food for future guests.  How do you organize this stuff so that guests see it and know that it is available?

I have a cupboard in the kitchen next to the fridge in which I store the stuff and point it out to new guests so they can help themselves to whatever is there and use it

Great ideas @Megan12 @Barbara45 , there's often credit on Bus/ train passes that can be used.

How is hosting in your regions of Atlanta, GA & Basel in Switzerland?

 Is there some normality coming back with tourists and travellers requiring accommodation in general?
