Little bit puzzled with Search hits

Hi all,

I'm a little bit puzzled with the Airbnb serach hits. Our unit has hosted 100 times over the years, reviewed 75x with 93% (majority 5 stars and few 4 stars, and a 3 star which is the lowest) satisfaction from overall experience and yet I cant even see my listing on my City neighborhood top 300.

I see listings less than 10 reviews and some even without reviews, listings not even on my city, listings with not so good primary pictures (doesnt even looked airbnb verified pictures). My pricing has been competitive and response rate is very high, accuracy is 100%. not sure what to do anymore...

kinda frustating isnt it? anyone experiencing the same?

Sorry for the rant.

My dear @Cheryll-And-Roy0,  When I did a search with the price range between $44 and $57 your listing was #1!

Yes, Airbnb puts new listings at the front of searches in order to give them a chance to compete against listings such as yours.  That said, you need to remember that guests use search filters for price, location and amenities.  Given that I found your listing right away by narrowing my price range tells me you are in really good shape.

Good Luck!

Hi @Clare0, Thank you for taking effort in trying to search my listing.  I dont want to sound spoiled but a few months ago, even without putting any filters or putting specific prices my listing will be shown maximum in page 4.  Specially in my area where listings are almost identical and the amenities are in marginal difference this is very important.

I get what you mean but there is a significant change that is very palpable, from page 4 to nothing.
