Major Inquiry Change???

Just got an Inquiry. No dates attached to it, (altho there were dates on the alert)  NO PRE-APPROVE OR DECLINE BOX. Nothing but the inquiry message with the guest's letter in a circle "profile".

Anyone else seeing this?

That's weird. Just checked back and the pre-approve box, etc is now there. False alarm I guess.

I had 2 of such weird messages, about 2 years ago (both of them, on the same day).

The message was of type: “Message” opposed to “Inquiry”, “Booking Request” or “Reservation”.

One of the messages was completely blank, and the other said: “Sorry, wanted to book your place. But just realized it is not available for the dates, we require”.

Both of them, did not contain any dates.

And I could only reply (no further buttons).

So, I just replied and never heard anything back anymore.

And yes, you never know, what’s the next thing on Airbnb’s sleeve again 😄

Back then, I thought it was just another glitch.
