"The purpose is to gather comments from Marblehead citizens"

"Since we announced we would be looking into the issue we have heard from many citizens who are aggrieved by short term rentals in their neighborhoods and also from operators who have told us it is a way to afford staying in their homes," explained Planning Board Chairman Bob Schaeffner. "Before we look into how to adress the issues we need to know what they are."

"The upcoming public workshop is the first step of the process. If the town will decide to pursue regulations the Planning Board will explore and work with others over the course of the next several months ...."
