Hello,

I had someone cancel due to an injury. She reached out to me about it and I am definitely considering refunding the money but I'm wondering if this is something that Airbnb can and would cover. Any information you can share with me is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No...AirBnB won't cover this. A person is responsible for their own travel and health insurance.

You can refund money if you wish however - all down to how you feel about the situation. Or you can offer to refund those nights you can resell, etc.
