Hi all,
I understand that Airbnb releases the money to hosts 24 hours after the guest checks in. In my case, the only posibility to get the payment is through a direct payment to my account. However, every time they send me a payment, I get charged nearly 6 dollars for the bank transaction. Taking into account that we charge 19 dollars per night, 6 dollars is more than 30% of the room fee! which is a lot!
I want to know if there is any possibility for Airbnb to get the money released on a montly basis to my account. That way I get carged 6 dollars per month instead of 6 dollars every time someone stays over.
Thanks in advance for the insights 🙂
I have exactly the same problem and it would be great to have it monthly! Any thoughts from AirBnB Community?
@Diana-And-Kalhara0 @Iuliia0 You can set a minimum payout out so that funds are only sent when a chosen lump sum is reached. Go to - Payout Preferences, Choose Payout Method, you will see a box saying "options", clic on the box and input an amount.
@Diana-And-Kalhara0 and @Iuliia0 Your using a wire transfer option, which is why it's so expensive. See if you can change it to a direct deposit which takes 3-5 business days or go to a personal PayPal account that you can transfer to your bank account. I think it's .25 cents per transaction through PayPal. It must be a personal PayPal though not a Business one you will be charged 3% on a business PayPal.
