No Checkout on Saturdays

No Checkout on Saturdays

Because we are unable to clean the apartment on Saturday we don't want bookings where people Checkout on Saturdays. Other accommodation websites offer this option and I see that this was requeted two years ago and still it has not been implimeted on Airbnb. Can I ask why this cannot be done?

Yes that is what I was talking about. Airbnb says they are looking at the checkout option as others have it.

If you hear something different, would you share with us? Many of us would love to see this changed.

@Jan281, his post doesn’t address the grayed out question. Whether one uses the link he showed on the screenshot or a rule-set, the result will be the same. Two methods, one available to some and not others, but the same result being the date appears grayed.

 

But, remember the grayed out date only appears if one is searching from your listing. If a potential guest has done a search in your area for Thur-Mon, or whatever, this issue will not play a role at all.

According to Airbnb they have set up this option as a trial and only given it to a random selection of hosts. Support asked me to give feedback. In the end they would not give me this option and were not interested in the grayed out calander. Go Figure

I'm not sure on this one, but it could be part of the Professional tool kit and so this might be why you are unable to see this option. You can opt-in for this, by going to your Account Settings.

Yup, that worked! 😄 Strange though that is being kept from everybody else. 

 

Thanx a lot for pointing us in the right direction. 

 

Now, if only Airbnb would stop graying out the days of my "Trip - Additional Requirements"...it would be perfect. I actually realized this issue today and stopped using Instant book. Really unfortunate....
