OMG I JUST NEED TO VENT!!!!!!! I rented the house to this younger couple, thank GOD i decided to driveby at night to my surprise there was a FULL BLOWN PARTY at least 40 people. I walked in, broken glass all over the garage a MESS, the tv broken! IT WAS HELL BEWAREEEEEEE Of younger parties trying to rent ur house

I had a look at your listing and nothing about no parties, you do say you are 420 friendly.

Besides what David pointed concerning parties, your listing is for 8 people and 420 friendly (which I had to look up, no idea what it was) = a perfect candidate for what just happened. Unfortunately.

I hope you immediately started taking pictures. Also, you should change you amenities settings since right now your listing is "Suitable for events" which is IMO kind of like an unofficial calling card for parties. Since it already happened, I think the best outcome now would be to make sure you get paid according to the actual  additional no. of people that entered your home (based on your additional person fee) and payment for damages. There are a lot of posts that cover how to do this. Good luck~

You GUYS ARE SOOOO RIGHT, I really thought that putting 420 friendly would bring mellow crowds that don't smoke cigarettes which stink up my house due to California been recreationally legal for marijuana I assumed I would attract a normal crowd. But these Young people are running a scam they are throwing parties and brushing them I just watched on the news someone in Ohio which this happened to, what they do is they get new accounts but They butter u up,and then make you trust them (  i'm new to Airbnb blah blah blah it's only for a night )and rent their house out but very fortunately I went to check on my house at 11 PM I can only imagine what would've happened if I would've come in the morning.

You got the flic now Giselle, a pity that your kind, trusting manner was so abused, but unfortunately that is what happens with ~some~ people. Also young people require added caution with.
