One or two rooms?

One or two rooms?

I have a pricing question that I don’t see covered in other forums. I hope I can ask here. I have been renting one bedroom on my home for 2 people. I am now able to add a second bedroom but I only want to rent it to people from the same party. The second room would require an up charge. How can I list this so that guests have the option to rent one or two rooms?

Create two listings with different prices, one with just the one bedroom and the other that offers two.  Make sure you link them so that both don't get booked at the same time.

That makes sense - thank you! What I did do was to change my listing to 3 people. I added an extra guest fee for the 3rd person that corresponded to the cost of the additional room.

It is an alternative option, but must be made clear in the listing description the second room is only available if there is a 3rd (!) guest in the booking party.

You now mention:

"This will only be rented to people from the same party due to bathroom availability."

(if the house has one listing, it will be the same booking party anyway)
